Alfalfa, a legume plant, has therapeutic uses as both food and
medicine. It is rich in vitamins, most notably, vitamins A, C, B6 and K, and is
believed to contain a higher mineral content than most grains. It is a good
source of calcium, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus.
As a tonic for the digestive system, alfalfa has been shown
to stimulate the appetite, and offers the potential to alleviate dyspepsia. It
may also promote peristalsis of the bowel, therefore reducing
constipation.
Each tablet contains:
- Medicago sativa (Alfalfa)
leaf powder 600mg
- Medicago sativa leaf extract
(equivalent to dry leaf) 400mg
Also
contains:
calcium hydrogen
phosphate, acacia, crospovidone, maltodextrin, glycerol monostearate and
natural peppermint oil flavour.
