Henry Blooms St John’s Wort 2000 is formulated to calm the nervous system and contains a high quality herbal extract. As a traditional European medicine the herb was used to help many conditions. It has anti-inflammatory and mood modulating properties. Hyperforin has been shown to inhibit the reuptake of the neurotransmitters serotonin, norepinephrine and dopamine. It also aids in the management of mild anxiety. Its sedative properties help aid in relief from insomnia and sleeplessness. St John’s Wort is thought to positively affect the neurotransmitters in the brain that are linked to mood and emotional conditions.

Stress/Sleeplessness: Helps relieve the symptoms of stress, nervous tension, mild anxiety, restlessness, irritability and nervous fatigue and insomnia. Henry Blooms St John’s Wort 2000 serves as a calming nerve tonic.
Women’s Health: Helps provide temporary relief of the symptoms of menopausal anxiety and nervous fatigue.
Bones, Joints, Muscles, Nerves: Temporary relief from nerve pain, pain associated with rheumatism, mild neuralgia and sciatica.

Ingredients

Each capsule contains:
Hypericum perforatum (St John’s Wort) extract
equivalent to dry flowering herb 2 g (2000 mg)
standardised to hypericin 1 mg

No added gluten, wheat, yeast, lactose, milk derivatives, sugar, salt, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

Tips

The first recorded use of St Johns Wort for medicinal purposes dates back to the Ancient Greeks. The plant is a yellow flowering perennial herb indigenous to Europe but also grows well in temperate climates such as Australia.

Instructions

Adults: Take 1 capsule three times daily.

Consult your doctor if taking any of the following prescription medications: antidepressants, HIV medications, transplant drugs, warfarin, some heart medications, anticonvulsants used for epilepsy, the contraceptive pill and migraine treatments, as St John’s Wort may interact.
